Student Activities Director directs and oversees the development and organization of the university/college's extra-curricular programs including special events. Sets up social events and has a participatory role in the Greek system, the student government, and student run clubs. Being a Student Activities Director approves funding for various student activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Activities Director typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Student Activities Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Student Activities Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Enthusiasm and creativity are a must, as is the ability to foster the love of horses and riding in children through lessons and activities. 

    Activities Director(AD) is responsible for overseeing that every child is signed in and out by a parent when they arrive and leave.  AD will keep track of any children who wish to join extended day and get that information to the Camp Director and office manager.  AD will oversee the tent areas and ensure that things are running smoothly and the tent areas are clean at the end of the day.  AD will be responsible for maintaining order and making sure campers stay on schedule and remain safe.  AD will be responsible for conducting and overseeing various activities throughout the camp day.

    Benefits include a wage of $22.00-24.00/hr, weekends off, and a portion of the end of summer camp tip. This is a short term position.
