As our Structural Engineer, you will independently champion important decisions concerning engineering problems and proposed methods. You will draw upon your advanced structural engineering techniques, theories and practices in carrying out your responsibilities and in guiding designers and junior engineers. Your work here will be diverse and challenging.
EXPERIENCE: a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; Professional Engineering (PE) registration is preferred, but not required. A minimum of 2 years of engineering design experience, inclusive of any postgraduate engineering-related education is required.
KNOWLEDGE: Prefer a background with a focus on industrial facilities design. A familiarity with structural analysis modeling software, STAAD Pro, RAM or RISA is highly desired, willingness to perform project management functions, such as scheduling, budget monitoring, specification development and editing on some projects is expected. Cast-in-Place Concrete design (including foundations).
SPECIAL SKILLS (Not necessary but a plus): MS Excel at an advanced level; Working Knowledge of AutoCAD. Working knowledge of databases (MS Access)
