Your Opportunity
The role of a Structural Engineer is to work as an integrated team member on a variety of bridge and structural projects. The successful candidate will serve in a technical role as part of an overall design team or squad for both highway and rail projects and will be responsible for performing simple and complex design and structural analysis assignments. Work will be performed both independently and under the guidance of a Senior Bridge Engineer on complex assignments. Your duties will be to perform, manage, and support projects including assembling detailed design packages, plan set preparation, and writing construction specification packages for structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, foundations, and other transportation related infrastructure for pedestrian, vehicular, and railroad uses.

Position will primarily require work in an office setting; short term travel may be required on an occasional basis to perform field investigations or site visits. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
