Structural Assembler assembles major aircraft structures and subassemblies such as bulkheads, fuselage panels, rudders, flaps, and stabilizers. Prepares parts for assembly by filing, burring, crimping, framing, drilling, and reaming. Being a Structural Assembler receives detailed written and verbal instructions on all work. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Structural Assembler typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Structural Assembler works under moderate supervision. A Grand Haven manufacturer specializing in the trucking industry is looking for Assemblers to join their 3rd shift growing team! Hours are 9:30pm-5:30am (Sunday-Thursday.) Overtime may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Responsible for assembling and disassembling landing gears for various industries.

Responsible for performing galvanized cleaning.
*
Will be logging and completing training documents.
*
Ability to perform tasks safely in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
*
Must be able to learn, cross-train, and gain proficiency in each position/station along the assembly line.
Preferred Skills:
*
Ability to work in work in a team environment
*
Have basic knowledge of robotic welding and hand tools
*
Analyze and solve production requirements with associates, suppliers, and customers
*
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
*
Must be able to read and interpret written work instructions
*
Must be able to work regular working hours and overtime as scheduled
*
Previous manufacturing experience
*
GED/High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
Work as part of a team in a clean, comfortable facility as you help assemble landing gears and various parts for various industries. This is a full-time temporary to permanent position.
