Prepares parts for assembly by filing, burring, crimping, framing, drilling, and reaming. Being a Structural Assembler receives detailed written and verbal instructions on all work. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Structural Assembler typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Structural Assembler works under moderate supervision. This position is working on an assembly line or at a sub-assembly station. Duties may include the use of, a tape measure, miscellaneous hand tools, a hand drill, a screw gun, a staple gun, a crane, and a stud welder. This position requires constant standing and may require the ability to drivea forklift.This person will work independently but towards the goals of the team.
Shifts are Monday - Thursday 5am - 330pm.Pay DOE: $18.95 - $23.69 Hourly
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Perform job tasks according to schedules, using established safe methods and processes.
- This position will include the use of a hand drill, screw gun, staple gun
- Duties may include the use of: Tape measure and miscellaneous hand tools.
- Work independently towards the goals of the team.
- Good mechanical aptitude a must.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instruction.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and must be 18 years old. Good mechanical aptitude a must. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. Good attendance and ability to work safely are necessary.
