Strategic Planning Manager jobs in Berkeley, CA

We are looking to fill a Strategic Planning Project Manager II position as part of our Business Strategy Department. As a member of the Energy Solutions team, you will have a broad impact on guiding the company’s corporate and business strategies by working with executive management, department leaders and staff and market stakeholders to manage a variety of Strategic Planning deliverables. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Overall direction, management, quality control and completion of strategic planning deliverables including tracking of initiatives on company’s project management software 
• Developing and managing complex strategic planning projects and tasks
• Managing the design and implementation of strategic planning administration and facilitation activities 
• Communicating overall strategic planning progress to executive and departmental management  
• Interacting with customers, clients, and external collaborators 
• Conducting market research and data analysis 
• Tracking of industry trends and other market changes that impact the company’s overall business 

Minimum qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree with an energy focus, preference being towards business, finance or marketing  
• A minimum of five years of work experience in an similar role
• Familiarity with strategic planning tools such as a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis and/or Strategic Planning processes within an organization  
• Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis 
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills 
• Strong organizational and project management skills 
• Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with senior management 
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Office 
• Exceptional collaboration and facilitation skills 
• Excellent personal accountability and quality control practices  
• Willingness to conduct business travel 

Salary DOE: $75,000 - $90,000 / Annually
