Strategic Planning Director directs and oversees an organization's strategic and long-range goal planning function. Drives strategic initiatives and supports the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals. Being a Strategic Planning Director analyzes emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, competitive threats, the viability of outside business partners, and sources of capital. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of our company's technology infrastructure and operations, ensuring efficiency and security.
Duties:
- Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives to support the company's overall objectives
- Manage IT projects, budgets, and resources effectively
- Oversee network infrastructure, security, systems administration, and software development
-Understand and protect regulations and intellectual property laws
- Implement best practices in cybersecurity, including PCI compliance and VPN management
- Drive innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology needs and solutions

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred Or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in IT roles with a minimum of 5 years in progressively responsible positions
- Strong technical skills preferrably in a bank environment
- Experience with within a banking environment is extremely helpful
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team building and talent development
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of change management principles and practices
