The Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership, department heads, and external stakeholders to develop and implement system-wide strategic plans, new programs, and business opportunities. Job Description: Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Development: Lead the development and management of system-wide strategic plans, incorporating analysis of internal and external environments, market trends, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with executive leadership to identify strategic opportunities, assess risks, and prioritize initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Contribute to the planning and organizing of board-directed strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and objectives. Assist in Certificate of Need (CON) responsibilities, including filings, financial projections, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Aid in the development and implementation of clinical service lines to meet the needs of the community and enhance patient care delivery. Business Development and Program Enhancement: Identify opportunities for geographic and program expansion/enhancement, conducting comprehensive assessments of operational impact, financial implications, and regulatory considerations. Lead business development projects and business plan implementation, including due diligence, project tracking, stakeholder management, and developing and implementing clinical service lines. Data Analysis and Performance Management: Utilize strong data analytical skills to support multiple departments, including spearheading efforts to identify issues and root causes of data discrepancies, driving data quality into the process. Develop and maintain performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor the progress and effectiveness of strategic plans and initiatives, demonstrating operational excellence, and leading organizational change and innovation. Collaboration and Communication: Partner with executive and organizational leaders to become a trusted advisor on strategic planning and business priorities. Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to consult, advise, and implement strategic initiatives. Process Improvement and Best Practices: Develop improved management processes related to strategic planning and business development functions, promoting efficiency and effectiveness. Lead the implementation and continuous evaluation of strategies to ensure relevance and alignment with the evolving healthcare landscape. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field required. May consider a Bachelor’s degree with additional years of experience in lieu of a Master’s Degree. Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in strategic planning, business development, or healthcare administration, including at least five (5) years in a managerial role. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and market research. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive change, and implement best practices. Thorough understanding of current issues and future challenges facing healthcare delivery systems. Additional Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strategic planning tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization. Completion of mandatory Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training annually according to the Exposure Control Plan.
