The Position:
This Business Analyst – Strategic Growth will play a key role in shaping the growth of our company by analyzing new market opportunities, developing business cases, and tracking performance across strategic growth initiatives. This individual will partner closely with our Strategy, Operations, Finance and Clinical functions to support decision-making across the CareVet leadership team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a background in management consulting and/or analytics, collaborates well within a team, communicates clearly, is data-driven, and is eager to join a growing organization.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, generate insights, and develop strategic recommendations.
- Create and maintain basic financial models, forecasts, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making processes.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support the development of business cases for new initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute expertise to help shape the long-term direction of the organization.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide ad hoc analytical support and contribute to special projects as needed to address evolving business needs.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 years in management consulting, strategic planning or as a business analyst
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, extract meaningful insights, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of business fundamentals, including financial analysis, competitive positioning, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
