Strategic Planning Analyst jobs in New London, CT

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for both gaming and non-gaming operational analysis and financial modeling for Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE). The Analyst will support all development efforts, financial forecasting, external presentations and monthly reporting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

• Responsible for various ad hoc analyses and development of complex financial models associated with all MGE projects, developments and investment opportunities
• Assists, as needed, with bid submissions for international and domestic development projects
• Assists with the development of and tracking of the annual operating budget
• Prepares monthly reports on performance versus budget, forecasted performance and compliance with financial covenants
• Observes and monitors operating results and gaming industry data to determine business trends
• Performs regular analyses of operational trends, economic trends and competitive developments for presentation to senior leadership
• Assists in preparing analysis and presentations for scheduled earnings calls and ad hoc lender presentations
• Communicates on a regular basis with various operating departments regarding current trends and issues within their operating disciplines
• Assists in the annual budgeting process

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Office work environment
• Travel may be required
• Must sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
