This Social Work Case Management position is involved in coordinating the Elderly and Disabled Medicaid Waiver program. This program consists of planning, arranging for, and coordinating appropriate home and community-based services which shall be provided to participants in a timely manner. The person assigned to this position maintains considerable contact with service providers, consumers of services and staff.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with an active, clear license to practice Social Work in the State of Mississippi and two (2) years of full-time experience working in direct service to aged and disabled individuals.
Candidates with less than two (2) years of experience will require at least 90 days of orientation under the supervision of an established case manager with two (2) years of waiver experience.
