The Role:
Reports to the Finance Manager – Innovation & Strategic Sourcing and is responsible for financial support of Procurement/Strategic Sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the Procurement/Strategic Sourcing team, track and report raw material budgets and forecasts, complete variance analyses.
· Support vendor contract negotiations and review final contractual agreements.
· Track key contractual agreements metrics that have financial implications (e.g. contractual volume agreements).
· Prepare raw material input cost forecasts used in the creation of monthly COGS forecast.
· Conduct financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities. Partner with the Strategic Sourcing team to help achieve savings.
· Calculate, track, and report supply chain productivity & related KPIs.
· Support efforts in the development, implementation, and maintenance of analytical tools used to analyze data for supporting financial analysis.
· Support Finance Manager – Innovation & Strategic Sourcing managing special projects and corporate initiatives.
