Sr Manager, Retail Strategic Planning
About the Role :
The Sr. Manager, Retail Strategic Planning is responsible for driving retail business results by developing, communicating, and executing key strategies across key retail functional areas, including operations, visual, trade, training, and new store development.
Responsibilities :
- Develops and executes retail strategy across key retail functional areas : Operations, Visual, Trade, New Store Development, and Training
- Oversee new store opening timeline and processes, developing tools to support the brand for rapid growth and acting as project manager for new store openings.
- In collaboration with District Manager, act as a change agent to identify operational, visual, and training needs at store level to maximize efficiencies and overall results.
- Partner with Retail Operations Team to ensure communication and execution of operational policies and procedures across brand and cross-brand groups
- Identify brand specific visual and merchandising opportunities and develop solutions that have the potential to drive sales and margin for the retail using brand marketing filters
- Provide support and specialist insight to DM in order to maximize business profitability
- Ensure that the DM and all cross functional business partners understand retail merchandising strategies and the key messages of each flow
- Participate in the product lifecycle process with cross functional teams to develop product placement strategies and to influence product assortment decisions
- Partner with the Merchandising, Store Development, Retail, and Creative teams to develop compelling store presentations to maximize sales, brand synergy, and to drive brand growth
- Partner with DM and corporate retail team on business growth opportunities in order to develop brand visual Creative strategies interpreting the Brand voice through creative and marketing collateral,
- Ensure that the DM and all cross functional business partners understand retail merchandising strategies and the key messages of each flow
- Participate in the product lifecycle process with cross functional teams to develop product placement strategies and to influence product assortment decisions
- Provide support to Retail Trade associates through communication, development
- Act as brand liaison between WSI Business Sales Team to provide product knowledge, product assortment opportunities, etc.
- Partner with Retail Training teams to identify brand specific training needs.
- Responsible for direct supervision of Retail Visual Manager.

- Ability to perform work onsite in the Portland, OR office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
