Identifies, analyzes, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity. Being a Strategic Planning Analyst may be responsible for external corporate communications with industry analysts and the investment community. May also be responsible for recommending strategic alternatives and developing and maintaining operational plans. Additionally, Strategic Planning Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to project leader or manager. The Strategic Planning Analyst works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Summary/Purpose:
Plans and coordinates the Production Control activities for a designated manufacturing area.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
- Preparation of the Master Production Schedule.
- Coordination of the Monthly Production Plans.
- Customer demand analysis
- Capacity analysis of production resources
- Supplier component ordering and forecasting
- Control of Phase In / Out activities in an accurate and timely manner.
- Work with Customer Service Specialist for returnable reconciliation when necessary
- Control of returnable packaging programs
- Registration of new bearings
- Bill of Material registration and maintenance
- Sample scheduling and coordination
- Coordination of new packaging programs for new or existing business
- Schedule performance analysis
- Coordination of improvement plans.
- Participate on PPCP teams as required
- Work closely with the Customer Service specialist and Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer requirements are met
- Establish and maintain recovery plans
- Coordinate Packing Instructions with the Production Control Planners
- Coordinate control of WIP levels with the Production Control Planners
- Coordinate maintenance of the Kanban system with the Production Control Planners
- Responsible to fill in for the Production Control Supervisor in his / her absence
- Maintain 5S
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in business from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or Associate’s degree in science or engineering from two/four-year college or university, and five to seven years related experience and/or training; or High School Diploma or GED, and seven to ten years of related experience and/or training; or ten to twelve years of related experience and/or training.
