We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our solutions. The Product Owner is responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by a software Scrum team to ensure impeccable features and functionality of Baxter Planning’s SaaS solutions.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with teams to drive outcomes for our customers. Responsibilities

• Take lead of scrum teams as the product owner
• Provide vision and direction to the agile development team and stakeholders through the project and create requirements.
• Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
• Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities.
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
• Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
• Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
• Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
• Work with developers to make architecture and design decisions.
• Review work by developers.
• Work with users and domain experts to gather requirements to improve the functionality and usability of our product.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years of experience with agile development practices
• Attention to detail
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills
• Awareness of the scope of development work and data models for reliable technical requirements
• Commitment to continuous self-improvement and education
• Highly self-motivated, self-starter
• Results oriented
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired

• Track record of delivering scalable, high-performance enterprise software
• Experience with supply chain management
• Experience applying domain analysis and design patterns to practical software problems
• Expertise with Java
