Shipping/Receiving Clerk:

Candidate should have 2-3 years’ experience in Shipping/Receiving activities and be a US Citizen. Security clearance is a bonus, but not necessary to start.

Must have experience in operating a forklift and other types of freight moving equipment. Should be able to lift heavy objects, up to 30-45 lbs.

Daily activities will be a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties, as well as interactions with key stakeholders from Supply Chain and Operations.

Hazmat training and experience is recommended.

Daily tasks will include using a ERP computer system to properly receive and ship items so that contractual requirements are met.

Ability to learn the ERP system quickly is a must.

Candidate must follow shipping practices and transportation routing, schedules and requirements per published procedures.

Other task include: receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.

Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
