Position Description
Commissary employees work with all departments to ensure inventory control of all liquor, beer and bar supplies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for completing tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning, and maintenance as needed
Follows requisition policies set in place for all products
Audits bar supplies, performs daily beer counts, and sets par at closing shifts
Maintains professional relationships with vendors
Tracks and orders products as needed
Continuously tracks inventory through electronic files to ensure accuracy
Rotates all dry storage to ensure product freshness
Maintains organized commissary and cooler areas; programs and numbers bottles as requested.
Continuously prepares purchase orders to ensure items are accounted for
Maintains personal health standards
Reviews work procedures and operational issues in order to determine ways to improve service, performance, and /or safety
This position is located within The Chickasaw Nation's Casinos.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
NOTE:
These include, but are not limited to the following (additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary):
Providing information to supervisors, co-workers and vendors by telephone, written, email, or in person
Performing day to day administrative tasks, such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork
Uniforms should always be pressed and clean
Creating and supporting an environment of TEAMWORK
Superior attendance and punctuality
Attendance in mandatory meetings, training, workshops, and seminars
Adherence to company policies and procedures
Special projects as assigned by Commissary Manager
Assist various departments as requested
Recommending and discontinuing products as needs change
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Above average computer skills, ability to compose and create reports, letters, memos, and procedures
Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters
Required knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing files and records and other office processes, procedures, and terminology
Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
Excellent math skills
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of InfoGenesis software
Bartending experience helpful
Integrity and honesty
Excellent Microsoft Applications knowledge
This position is located within The Chickasaw Nation's Casinos.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, carries and pushes
Lifts and carries supplies, and cases, weighing up to 50 lbs
Essential hand/eye coordination
Work is normally performed in a typical interior restaurant/bar/casino work environment
Noise level is moderate to high
Hot and cold weather exposure
Moderate or high exposure to cigarette smoke when on property
Limited exposure to physical risk
Moderate physical effort required
