Stock Clerk locates stock and delivers items to their destination upon request. Ensures incoming deliveries are accurate and stocks supply room with new goods. Being a Stock Clerk takes inventory and identifies reorder needs for supervisor approval. Checks order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation, accuracy, and on time deliveries. Additionally, Stock Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stock Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work – Up to 40 hours per week; generally Monday - Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Hours are subject to change in accordance with requirements of the operation. Must be prepared to work contingency overtime to meet the needs of the operation. Overtime may be scheduled on any day of the week, and at any hour.
Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED and three years relevant work experience. Minimum one year experience working with developmentally disabled preferred. General knowledge of government regulations, forms, and operating procedures is desirable. Ability to organize information systematically is required. Customer service experience is required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. - no restrictions.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance – Authorized to work in the United States and pass all background clearances.
Summary/Objective - Perform administrative functions for issue, turn-in, direct exchange, temporary loan and bulk issue of organizational clothing and individual equipment (OCIE).
