Stock Clerk locates stock and delivers items to their destination upon request. Ensures incoming deliveries are accurate and stocks supply room with new goods. Being a Stock Clerk takes inventory and identifies reorder needs for supervisor approval. Checks order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation, accuracy, and on time deliveries. Additionally, Stock Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stock Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for all procedures relating to the handling of money, invoicing, cash register operation, merchandising, assisting other retail and warehouse personnel, and providing excellent customer service.
- Must be able to greet customers in a friendly manner.
- Maintain a clean working area.
- Assist in stocking shelves.
QUALIFICATIONS : Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. often, able to stand during entire shift, and work closely with co-workers.
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to follow directions. Honesty, dependability and strong work ethic essential. Agricultural background and experience very helpful.
