May serve as a consultant in the department or division. Assists with development of grant applications, presentation of results, and scientific papers for publication
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibility 1: Performs statistical programming, data analysis, reviews databases, handles quality assurance, provides program verification, and supports verification of statistical results. Perform and use of mostly advanced methods. Able to help create appropriate study databases.
Responsibility 2: Interpretation of statistical results and ability to convey results to investigator. Able to perform biostatistics job function with minimum supervision help collaborators and meeting with collaborators independently. Write a statistical section for the journal manuscripts.
Responsibility 3: Meets deadlines and has excellent time management skills. Evaluates research studies and recommends statistical procedures. Mentor statistician I.
