Stationary Engineer jobs in Pascagoula, MS
Stationary Engineer operates, repairs, and maintains stationary equipment including boilers, generators, refrigeration, and turbines in buildings, plants or industrial facilities. Ensures that equipment is operating safely and within established limits. Being a Stationary Engineer conducts monitoring and failure analysis of meters, gauges and controls to determine the need for repair or replacement of parts. Performs preventative maintenance and documents completed procedures. Additionally, Stationary Engineer requires a high school diploma. Requires applicable Stationary Engineer's license for the state. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Stationary Engineer works under moderate supervision. QUALIFICATIONS- Completion of the Defence Acquisition University
- Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management course or Acquisition Fundamentals course
- Completion of the Air Force Flight Test Engineer course or comparable
- Minimum of 24 months of experience in qualified position or a master's degree in a specified discipline and 12 months' experience or a Doctor of Philosophy degree in a specified discipline
- Completion of Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA) or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC)
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 42
