Stationary Engineer FT Rotating Position Summary
Maintains major equipment in the central plant; chillers, boilers, and associated equipment.
Responsibilities
Maintains and operates boilers, chillers and associated equipment according to established policies and procedures.
Adheres to regulatory and code requirements.
Maintains and operates Co-Generation and associated equipment according to established policies and procedures.
Adheres to regulatory and code requirements.
At management’s discretion, performs other related duties consistent with minimum level of preparation and training required and department demands/needs.
THE STATIONARY ENGINEER FACILITIES FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field
Experience
Required: Three years of experience with a mechanical contractor or experience as a stationary engineer in a commercial or hospital service environment.
Certifications
Required: Licensure as required by state law.
