Staff Nurse - RN - Wound and Enterostomal jobs in New York
Staff Nurse - RN - Wound and Enterostomal aids hospital staff and physicians in the care of patients with stomas, draining wounds, fistulae, incontinence, or potential or actual tissue trauma. Manages patients with post-operative surgical wounds requiring packing or negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), pressure ulcers and vascular ulcers. Being an Staff Nurse - RN - Wound and Enterostomal provides support and education to patients and their families, including pre and post-operative teaching, wound care, ostomy care, and ostomy appliance maintenance/trouble-shooting. Requires a RN license and typically requires CWOCN, CWS, or CWCA certification. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Wound and Enterostomal typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Staff Nurse - RN - Wound and Enterostomal's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Position: Nurse Supervisor LTC
Shift: Days
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Gross: $ 2,554 (based on 36 hours)
Estimated NET: $ 2,186 (based on 36 hours)
Misc. and I E : $ 530(non-tax weekly)
Lodging : $ 800 per week
OT Rate: $ 90/hour (after 40 hours)
Weekly gross $ 3,410 (Based on 48 hours)
Est. Weekly Net $ 2,786 (Based on 48 hours)
New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) license required.
Minimum 2 years of experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum 2 years long term care clinical experience required.
Travelers cannot be resident of Otsego county.
