Staff Nurse - RN - Surgical First Assistant jobs in Pennsylvania
Staff Nurse - RN - Surgical First Assistant provides direct patient care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative period. Assists surgeon during surgical procedures by positioning skin preparation, providing wound exposure, performing tissue dissection, suturing, and other surgical tasks. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Surgical First Assistant administers medications and IV treatments as necessary. Participates in discharge planning and counsels patients and caregivers on appropriate post-operative care. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Surgical First Assistant requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR). Requires Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Staff Nurse - RN - Surgical First Assistant's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Location: New Lenox, IL
Position: RN ICU
Shift: Nights
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Gross: $ 2,480 (based on 36 hours)
Estimated NET: $ 2,156 (based on 36 hours)
Misc. and I E : $ 650 (non-tax weekly)
Lodging : $ 750 per week
