Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned psychiatric patients in a home care environment. Conducts patient intake assessments, develops mental health care plans in conjunction with psychiatrist, and administers medications. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit - Home Care develops therapeutic relationships with patients and records observations of behavioral changes in patient medical records. Helps family members to understand the nature of the condition, and teaches them how to maintain a healthy environment for the patient.     Responsibilities:
    - Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status

    - Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

    Experience:
    - Previous experience as a Psychiatric Nurse is preferred
    - Familiarity with Cerner or other electronic medical record systems is a plus
    - Knowledge of occupational health practices and procedures
    - Proficiency in procedures such as inhale, gastric lavage, DME, specimen collection processing, family planning, memory care, pediatrics, and laboratory techniques

    Requirements:
    - Valid nursing license in [STATE]
    - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
    - Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients with mental health conditions
