Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics jobs in Nebraska

Pediatrics, P.C. is looking for a self-motivated, multitasking, and flexible RN or LPN to assist us with providing the highest quality healthcare to our patients and their families. If you enjoy working with children and want diversity in your position, this would be the perfect position for you! This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and will include at least one Saturday shift per month (8am-12pm).

Essential Duties

• Perform basic nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtain medical information and vital signs.
• Record medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in electronic medical record.
• Prepare and administer injections, and perform routine tests.
• Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines.
• Team player willing to cross train in basic scheduling, and front desk duties.
• Authorize drug refills, complete prior-authorizations, and provide prescription information to pharmacies.
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, or physicians' instructions to patients.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
• Provide for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• RN\LPN must hold a current medication aid license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Pediatric clinic experience preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
