Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics provides professional nursing care to assigned pediatric patients. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops pediatric patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Focus Staff is seeking a traveling ER RN to provide patient care to all ages and background who are experiencing trauma, injury, or acute onset symptoms.
Contract Assignment: 13 Weeks (Temporary, Travel)
Shift: 3x12 Days

Requirements:- Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth
- AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
- BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
- Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families

- Accurately assess and triage patients in a thorough and efficient manner
- Perform the techniques of CPR and other emergency actions accurately and effectively
- Closely monitor cardiac and physical status of patient
- Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient?s physical condition
- Maintain clinical records
- Utilize sterile procedures
- All other responsibilities as needed
