Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned pediatric patients in a home care environment. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient home care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care performs examinations and prescribed procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) RN to implement nursing care services for the LTC patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.
Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)

Responsibilities:- Administer medications and injections, take blood, prepare/insert IV lines
- Monitor patient health and progress physically and mentally
- Perform techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively
- Maintain a high level of expertise in critical care
- Maintain patient’s clinical records
- Assist the physician in performing special procedures
- All other responsibilities as needed
