Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care jobs in Florida

Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned pediatric patients in a home care environment. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient home care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care performs examinations and prescribed procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.     The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) is a Registered Nurse (RN) who supervises home health services to homebound patients in their place of residence, in accordance with attending physician orders and plans of care and strives to provide the highest quality of care. Skilled nursing and other therapeutic services are under the supervision and direction of the DCS. The DCS is available at all times during operating hours (or appoints a similarly qualified alternate) and participates in all activities relevant to professional services furnished, including the development of qualifications and assignment of personnel.
     
     As the Director of Clinical Services with our agency, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care plans, as well as communicating with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
    Our ideal candidate is a licensed RN with a minimum of two years of clinical experience, in home health. We value strong communication skills, compassionate bedside manners, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

    Qualifications:

    • Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
    • Minimum 3 years home health and OASIS experience required for consideration
    • Home Health Supervisory experience required
    • Must be well organized, an excellent communicator and able to be a resource to our field clinicians
