Job Description:
The Home Care RN / Clinical Supervisor has primary responsibility for maintaining the quality of clinical services in the home care setting (State of Connecticut Regulation Sec. 19-13-D67(e)(2)) and assists with the daily management, coordination and administration of home health care service in accordance with Agency standards. The Home Care RN / Clinical Supervisor has administrative responsibilities assigned by the Administrator/Director of Nursing and assumes full responsibility in the absence of the Administrator/Director of Nursing. The Home Care RN / Clinical Supervisor also designs, develops and assists the Administrator/Director of Nursing in planning clinical nursing policy and procedure for the home care setting.
The Home Care RN / Clinical Supervisor maintains an on-going positive relationship with staff of the agency. The Supervisor supports and fosters the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the agency.
The Home Care RN / Clinical Supervisor will oversee clinical field staff.
The Home Care RN / Clinical Supervisor will be required to complete weekly field assessments as needed.
