Staff Nurse - RN - Obstetrics provides professional nursing care to assigned OB/GYN patients. Assists physicians with examinations, labor and delivery, operates and monitors medical equipment, and records relevant statistics, including time of birth. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Obstetrics provides immediate and comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods. Observes patient's condition, records observations in patient medical record, and updates attending physician directly when necessary. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Obstetrics may administer medications and IV solutions as necessary. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Typically requires Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Obstetrics's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

General Details and Pay Package:
Location: Somerset County, Maine
Position: NP Home Health
Shift: Days
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Gross: $ 6,600 (based on 40 hours)
Estimated NET: $ 5,280 (based on 40 hours)
Misc. and I E : $ 1000 (non-tax weekly)
Lodging : $ 1200 per week
OT Rate: $ 165/hour (after 40 hours)
Weekly gross $ 7,920 (Based on 48 hours)
Est. Weekly Net $ 6,204 (Based on 48 hours)
Details:
Successfully complete the self-paced and live portions of the onboarding training in the specified time allotted.
Ability to drive up to a 50-mile radius from home address to complete appointments.
Be able to complete 25 assessments each week
Ensure high quality assessments are performed to meet member satisfaction, health plan expectations and Emcara Health quality standards.
Document and submit chart notes within 24 hours of the visit taking place.
Address charting queries within 48 hours of receipt.
Maintain adequate communication with clinical leadership staff.
Attend periodic training sessions and meetings pertinent to the position.
Must be comfortable entering into personal living spaces for members scheduled.
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
Ability to bend or kneel for extended periods of time if needed while performing assessments.
Masters or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP program.
Home health experience (Preferred)
2 year of in-home assessment experience (Preferred)
Current RN and NP licensure in the Maine
Board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
Current BLS certification - must be from an accredited entity
Valid unencumbered state drivers license
Valid proof of sufficient car insurance coverage for the state appointments are scheduled to be completed in.
