Staff Nurse - RN - Geriatric jobs in New Rochelle, NY
Staff Nurse - RN - Geriatric provides professional nursing care to assigned geriatric patients. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops geriatric care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Geriatric assists physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Geriatric promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing.Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Geriatric's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Position: RN ER
Shift: Days/Nights
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Gross: $ 2,760 (based on 36 hours)
ICU RN QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB SUMMARY
- BSN or higher degree from accredited nursing school.
- RN License to practice in New York State or by reciprocity
- ICU Nurses DAY 7A - 7:30P
- Requires AHA BCLS, ACLS, PALS
- Must have 3yrs ICU experience.
- MUST HAVE EXP W/EPIC
- Facility requires De-Escalation Cert prior to start.
- Efficient in managing patient with EVD, multiple medication drips, use of Hemosphere Flotrac.
- Efficient in managing trauma patient of different severities.
- Perform assessment using CAM, CPOT, and RASS
- Efficient in the care of patient with hypothermia treatment
- Familiar with the care pleurevac chest tube drainage
- Must observe strict isolation precaution, hand washing, gel in and gel out.
- Familiar with the use of PCA pump
