POSITION DESCRIPTION

Burn Boot Camp is looking for caring and compassionate Childwatch workers who have experience caring for children ages eight weeks to twelve years old. We are committed to providing top quality care and a welcoming environment that reflects the Burn commitment to the community. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility and ensure a safe, engaging, and clean environment.

We are currently looking for people with evening availability (4:00pm-8:00pm) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You are also required to be on the Saturday rotation, which equates to about 1-2 Saturday mornings (8:00am-11:00am) per month.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing children with top quality care and an engaging experience while in their care
• Organizing and participating in recreational activities, such as games and arts & crafts
• Organizes and stores toys and materials
• Sanitizes toys, play equipment, and completes daily cleaning checklist
• Ensures that all necessary paperwork is completed (ie: liability waivers)
• Assists with cleaning the full gym and preparing gym for the next camp/next day

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate is-

• 18 years old
• Caring and compassionate
• Patient
• Able to remain calm in difficult situations
• A good communicator
• Preferred to have a valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Preferred to have experience in child care
