Unit Highlights

Nurses on 4H have specialized training in the care and treatment of critically ill burn and trauma patients. We care for patients with a variety of life-threatening injuries including large total body burn surface, area burns, inhalation injuries, gunshot, and stab wounds along with wounds receive from motor vehicle accidents You will have the opportunity to care for patients who have undergone complex surgical procedures. We are well-known for our teamwork and foster an environment where you will be supported in your nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
