Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor requires a master's degree in speech pathology or equivalent. Requires ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and applicable State License to Practice. Typically reports to a director. The Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Thrive Speech Therapy is an established speech therapy practice with a wonderful reputation in the Houston area! We are seeking a Speech Pathologist Assistant for a full-time clinic-based position in the Cypress area! We are a Speech Pathologist owned and operated agency, so we understand your unique professional needs. We are always looking for talented and empathetic therapists who work well in our group and with our patients.
During this position, you will have the opportunity to work both in our clinic and in preferred ABA centers near our clinic (no more than 10-15 minutes from the clinic). Thrive Speech Therapy has built a large reputation for providing services in Houston with select ABA centers.
Why provide services at ABA centers? Glad you asked!! Providing our services at ABA centers allows the SLP-Assistant to receive behavior support from the ABA center's BCBA and RBTs. This ACCELERATES progress because the SLP-Assistant does not need to manage behavior while conducting their session.
Our sessions are 30 minutes in length. The position is paid *handsomely* per 30-minute session. Payroll is via direct deposit, bi-weekly on a 1099 basis.

Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or the equivalent
-Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License
-1 year experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a pediatric setting preferred
- Experience and a passion for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder are preferred but not required!
