Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages the daily operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions. Plans and develops speech therapy programs and evaluates program objectives and results to determine effectiveness. Being an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor reviews assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations. Monitors inventories and supplies and tracks spending to ensure adherence to departmental budgets. Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor implements operational procedures to ensure effective care, promote best practices, and facilitate efficient workflow. Provides professional guidance and oversight to resolve complex cases or issues. Recruits, hires, and manages staff and designs and leads development and training activities. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a position in a school district located in Roy. The SLP will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students with a wide range of communication disorders and disabilities.
    Overview:

    • Full Time
    • 5 Days a Week
    • 35 Hours Per Week
    • Start: As Soon As Possible
    • End: June 14, 2024

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
    • Provide therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
    • Collaborate with other members of the education team to develop and implement IEPs and provide support to students.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders
    • Active Washington SLP license
    • Experience working with children in a school setting
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
