Speech and Language Pathologist - Nursing Home assesses and treats speech and language disorders and impairments in a nursing home or long term care setting. Conducts patient evaluation of speech and language skills using applicable diagnostic materials and tools. Being a Speech and Language Pathologist - Nursing Home develops treatment plans that utilize appropriate intervention approaches, strategies, and materials. Establishes treatment priorities that include advising, educating and counseling the patient. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathologist - Nursing Home documents assessment and patient progress. Collaborates with physicians, family members, and other clinical providers. May direct support staff in assisting with treatment. Ensures that treatment aligns with patient needs and is within the parameters set by the payer. Requires a master's degree in speech pathology or equivalent. Requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and may require a state license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Speech and Language Pathologist - Nursing Home's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. BILINGUAL SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP)
Speech Tactics is Charlotte's premier Bilingual Pediatric Therapy Clinic. We are seeking a compassionate bilingual speech language pathologist to join our growing team of dedicated professionals in serving children and families in our community. This position provides evaluative, therapeutic, and consultative services for children of all ages with developmental delays or impairments in the areas that impact speech, language, feeding/swallowing, sensory systems, emotional regulation, fine/gross motor, and cognition. Speech Tactics provides a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team of speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. We offer clinic-based therapy services in our beautiful facility, as well as teletherapy, daycare, and school-based services. Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assess, diagnose, and treat clients within a multi-disciplinary clinic setting and/or teletherapy.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective individualized treatment plans
Develop home programs and direct therapy for a pediatric population (0-18)
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, parents, and caregivers during progress report meetings
Supervision of up to 2 SLP-Assistants as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PEDIATRIC SLP
1. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) (CFs Considered) 2. State of North Carolina license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) 3. At least two (2) years of pediatric experience is a PLUS 4. Early Childhood Intervention experience is a PLUS. 5. Excellent Communication skills
Fluency in Spanish and English is a PLUS.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Valid North Carolina Driver’s License
