Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care assesses and treats speech and language disorders and impairments in a home care setting. Conducts evaluations of an individual's speech and language skills using applicable diagnostic materials and tools. Being a Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care develops treatment plans that utilize appropriate intervention approaches, strategies, and materials. Establishes treatment priorities that include advising, educating, and counseling. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care completes required documentation to record assessment and progress. Collaborates with physicians, family members, and other clinical providers to provide effective therapies. Ensures that treatment that is provided aligns with patient needs and is within the guidelines set by the payer. May direct support staff in assisting with treatment. Requires a master's degree in speech pathology or equivalent. Requires ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and applicable State License to Practice. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. We are seeking a talented bilingual speech language pathologist to join our growing team of dedicated professionals! This position provides evaluative, therapeutic and consultative services for children of all ages who exhibit developmental delays or impairments in the areas that impact speech, language, feeding/swallowing, sensory systems, emotional regulation, fine/gross motor, and cognition. We offer tele-therapy and clinic therapy services in our beautiful facility!
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Assess, diagnose, and treat clients within a multi-disciplinary clinic setting and/or tele-therapy.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective individualized of treatment plans
Develop home programs and direct therapy for a pediatric population (0-18)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team, parents, and caregivers during progress report meetings
Supervision of SLP-Assistant if needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PEDIATRIC SLP
1. Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) (CFs Considered) 2. State of North Carolina license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) 3. At least two (2) years of pediatric experience is a PLUS 4. Early Childhood Intervention experience is a PLUS.5. Excellent Communication skills
Fluency in Spanish and English is a MUST
