Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our pediatric therapy TEAM at Speech and Beyond in Jenks. The candidate must love working with children and their families. This position is Monday through Thursday, 9am to 6pm.

Benefits are available after 60 days of employment.

Speech and Beyond prefers (not required) candidates who have experience working in a fast paced clinic or medical office AND have experience with a Mac, utilizing EHR systems, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

1. Verify insurances, collect deductibles, co-pays

2. Schedule patients and enter information into patient records in an accurate manner.

3. Answer phones

4. Schedule and confirm appointments.

5. Assist as needed with Prior Authorizations, Referrals and perform other related duties as assigned.

6. Be the face of the company! Welcome clients, make parents feel welcome and heard.

7. Be a team player!

Education Recommended – Degree in related field, Technical School or experience as a medical office front desk or biller/coder.

Experience - experience in a pediatric clinic or with Modernizing Medicine’s software is a plus, but not a requirement!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
