Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and coordinating shop services for our clients. Your role will involve assisting customers with their service needs, scheduling appointments, and ensuring efficient communication between customers and our service technicians.

Duties:
- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to the service department
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their problems
- Provide accurate estimates for services and communicate pricing to customers
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed about the status of their repairs
- Assist with upselling additional services or products based on customer needs
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is required
- Knowledge of automotive sales and services is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with small engine repair is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with service technicians
