HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALISTPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALISTUnder direct supervision, provides support to all locations in functional areas of Human Resources.

Responsible for hourly hiring support, disability tracking, leaves of absence, maintaining records in WorkdayResponsible for personnel and employee relations records maintenance.

Responsible for managing Labor Relations functions of job bidding, USW vacations, grievance administration including adherence to time limitsAssist the Manager - Labor Relations with all Labor Relations functions.

Disseminates information via distribution of employee booklets, communications, and / or scheduling of employee meetings.

Prepares and maintains statistics and reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs.Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED FOR THE HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALISTHigh School Diploma required. College degree preferred.Entry level position; one to three years human resources administration experience preferred.

Basic understanding of human resources policies and procedures.Knowledge of positive employee relations and practices.Flexibility when faced with frequently changing priorities.

Strong goal and results orientation; high energy.Ability to operate a computer workstation.Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
