5R Metal Works LLC is seeking a Project Manager to join our expanding team.

5R Metal Works is a family-owned construction company that strives to grow and expand while also taking care of all of our customers.

Jobs you'll oversee:

• Land Clearing
• Ponds
• House leveling
• New Metal Building Builds
• Driveways and materials
• Remodels
• Gutters
• Etc.

What you’ll do:

• Support project proposal efforts, ensuring that project bids are both competitive and feasible.
• Support due diligence and negotiation efforts for project prior to contract execution.
• Engage external consultants as needed for due diligence, engineering, and permitting.
• Create full project schedules which include development, interconnection, engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Manage schedule and budget to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
• Recruit new job opportunities through the Community and Social media.
• Work to ensure material is purchased in a financially responsible and timely manner.
• Work with internal teams to ensure procurement and subcontracting efforts are carried out efficiently per project budget and schedule.
• Work with state, county, and local governments to obtain discretionary and non-discretionary permits necessary for construction mobilization.
• Work with internal and external construction resources to ensure successful project construction with health, safety, quality, and the environment top of mind.
• Work with internal teams to ensure successful project construction.
• Manage and communicate project risks and maintain teams Osha compliance.
• Support staff by encouraging a positive work environment and posting new employment opportunities when available.

The Qualifications we are seeking:

1-3 years of construction experience preferred.

Good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to learn.

The ability to travel.

Must have proficient computer skills.

Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales (required).

Details of the Job:

Mon-Fri: 7-5, Saturday as needed
