Required Skills/Experience:
Proficient in Programming of Press Brakes, with 2-5 years experience as a programmer/operator in a highly productive machine shop environment. Experience with Durma and Trumpf Press Brakes desired.

Summary:

This position is a support position for the Press Brake and Laser Department. The primary goal for this position is to provide high quality, efficient programs for Press Brakes, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Duties

• Setup press brakes with minimal supervision
• Report press brake consumable needs to Laser/Press Brake Lead
• Report damage to press brake tooling to Laser/Press Brake Lead
• Operate press brakes
• Must clock in on work orders in JobBOSS²
• Must clock out of work orders in JobBOSS²
• Perform daily checklist for press brake maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain organized and clean work space including desk area, tool boxes, press brake, outgoing and incoming material staging areas, and tooling area
• Complete other related duties as assigned by Laser/Press Brake Lead

Required Skills/Experience:

• PROVEN experience setting up/running Press Brakes
• PROVEN manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems and procedures
• Knowledge of basic computer skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Punctuality and reliability
• Ability to work well with others from a variety of occupational backgrounds

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Math Ability:
Ability to calculate and verify cutting tool speeds, feeds, and material removal rates. Must be able to interpret drawing requirements.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
