Specialty Swing Shift Veterinary Technician
Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is looking for Specialty Swing Shift Veterinary Technician to join our team! Fetch is a privately-owned emergency and specialty veterinary hospital offering advanced and specialized veterinary services to our clients and referring veterinarians in Greenville, South Carolina. Our mission is to provide high-quality care to pets in need, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled veterinary technician to help us achieve this goal. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our veterinarians in providing exceptional care to our patients. The position will take primary responsibility for evening and weekend surgical and specialty procedures. In between procedures, the position will support the ER and ICU services. Evening and weekend coverage received a pay differential as added incentive. You will work directly with clients, pets, and other veterinary professionals on a daily basis.
Our ideal candidate must have extensive prior experience in veterinary surgery and anesthesia. This candidate will be expected to work with the on-call specialists performing after-hours procedures (surgery and endoscopy) and therefore must be comfortable with induction and monitoring of anesthesia recovery, as well as setting up post-procedural treatment orders. As this position is a hybrid of surgery and emergency, candidates will need to be adaptable, willing to learn and enjoy working on a team in order to be successful.
