Specialty Pharmacy Technician jobs in Hutchinson, KS
Specialty Pharmacy Technician assists a registered pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense high dollar/specialty medications (e.g. Oncology, Multiple Sclerosis). Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information. Being a Specialty Pharmacy Technician receives and stocks incoming supplies. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Additionally, Specialty Pharmacy Technician requires a high school diploma. May require Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Specialty Pharmacy Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Specialty Pharmacy Technician typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

AuBurn Long Term Care Pharmacy has an opening for a dedicated professional to join our team. Located in Wichita, KS, our closed-door pharmacy serves local nursing homes, group homes and other similar facilities. We have an immediate need for an experienced Full-Time LTC Pharmacy Technician. Hours between 8am-5pm Monday - Friday, and rotating weekends 8am-12pm.
The listed opportunity for a production pharmacy technician includes preparing and filling bubble cards and medications for delivery, stocking shelves, and preparing sterile and non-sterile compounded medications. Candidates must display attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to learn Framework LTC Software. Must be a Kansas Registered Pharmacy Technician, or become registered once hired. Nationally Certified Technician and previous work experience in a Long Term Care pharmacy is preferred. Will train the right person.
