Outstanding opportunity for an experienced Specialty Pharmacy Technician in our rapidly growing program.

The Specialty Pharmacy Technician functions under the direction of the Specialty Pharmacist. Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refills, and patient information. Accurately interprets and enters prescriptions. Verifies benefits. Enters and processes insurance information in a timely fashion. Communicates with physician offices, insurance companies and patients to coordinate patient specialty medications. Coordinates and processes new patient medication orders and reorders. Directs medication related questions to the pharmacist.

Requires a high school diploma. Certified Pharmacy Technician required. 2-5 years Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
