Special Events Manager - Casino plans, coordinates, and improves special events designed for a casino in order to bring back guests. Negotiates contracts and obtains competitive bids from vendors to ensure the lowest bid with the highest quality of service and products. Special Events/Birthday Manager

  • Our entertainment venue, PINSTACK, features a full-service restaurant offering a chef-inspired menu featuring local and regional cuisine, a full bar and private dining area, as well as state-of-the-art bowling lanes with lane-side food and beverage service.
    PINSTACK also features a two-level laser tag arena, a rock climbing wall, bumper cars, and a high-ropes course suspended 20 feet above 100 of the newest video games and simulator technology. With multiple areas for hosting groups, including a VIP bowling lounge and private event spaces with private bowling lanes, PINSTACK is equipped to host multiple events, parties, and corporate events as well.

    With all those moving parts, we are looking for a strong leader to run our Birthday Department to book and execute children's birthday parties and give our guests great customer service when they party with us. Will that be you?

    Primary Job Duties:

    • Maintains birthday reservations and prepares contracts as negotiated
    • Supervises and schedules birthday party hosts and hostesses
    • Hires, develops, and trains party hosts and hostesses
    • Operates POS system in order to manage bookings, transactions, and deposits
    • Orders and maintains adequate inventory for party supplies
    • Partners with Sales and Marketing leaders to develop a marketing plan to drive more party sales
    • Manages call back logs, reaching out to previous years’ bookings for rebooking
    • Maintains open communication with management of scheduled events
    • Initiates post-party follow-ups and referral process to ensure product and services exceeded expectations
    • Assists and supports party reservationists on all birthday related questions and concerns
    • Creates a fun and enthusiastic environment for all guests and team members

    Physical Requirements:

    • Standing for long periods of time with frequent bending and turning
    • Must be able to lift 40 lbs
    • Must be comfortable climbing on a ladder
    • Must be able to communicate with guests and deliver instructions

    Special Requirements:

    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate or other similar license per local code
