Special Events Manager - Casino jobs in New Mexico

Special Events Manager - Casino plans, coordinates, and improves special events designed for a casino in order to bring back guests. Negotiates contracts and obtains competitive bids from vendors to ensure the lowest bid with the highest quality of service and products. Being a Special Events Manager - Casino supervises and evaluates special events staff. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Additionally, Special Events Manager - Casino typically reports to a director. The Special Events Manager - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs.     Summary of Position

     

    Provide the primary level of guest assistance while at concerts by scanning tickets, directing guests to their assigned seats, setting up seat numbers. Providing assistance by preparing, decorating and working, both indoor and outdoor special events.

    • Reports all guest complaints and compliments to Supervisor or Manager.
    • Reports all situations to Supervisor or Manager where resort grounds or equipment do not meet IMGR&C standards.

    1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:
    • Assisting in preparation for Special Events, such as decorating, creating centerpieces, setting up backdrops. Cutting and pasting of images. 
    • Assisting with Concerts, by setting up seat numbers, scanning tickets, ushering, taking up seat numbers.
    • Assisting with organization of storage areas, insuring all event items are stored correctly after each event.
    • Assisting with outdoor events, by setting up outdoor activities and working in those areas or where needed.
