The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Special Projects Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will provide support to the entire division to meet requirements of a variety of projects and contracts. Activities include: coordinating and providing customized training; developing and distributing division marketing publications; conducting limited outreach; providing support to special projects, programs, and services in conjunction with the ECE District offices and ECE Division staff.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Coordinate and facilitate presentations throughout COAD ECE service delivery areas; activities include arranging training events, generate agreements, and coordinate locations and consultants.
· Ordering/distributing division marketing and communication pieces; activities include timely compilation, editing, and distribution for example, training calendar, newsletter, social media, website content, e-blasts, brochures, videos, etc. routinely updating SUTQ rating.
· Works in collaboration with ECE Division leadership, other agencies, departments and organizations, to develop and/ or deliver special projects and services.
· Coordinate data collection tracking, reporting, and analysis for special projects.
· Assists in outgoing Peer to Peer Calls, Incoming Parent Calls, Provider Updates, and Follow Up with Referrals as needed.
· Presents a positive public image of COAD; may make community presentations related to special projects as assigned.

Requirements
Key Qualifications:
· An Associate degree in a field related to the job duties or CDA (Child Development Associate) is preferred.
· Strong communication skills both oral and written.
· Three years’ experience working in an early childhood setting.
· Two years of experience teaching or, training, or coaching/mentoring adults
· Solid customer service skills, strong organizational and communication skills and be able to prioritize multiple tasks.
· Knowledge and experience in Ohio’s childcare / early childhood education systems is preferred.
· Fluency with Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Valid Ohio drivers’ license and vehicle insurance required.
