    Description

    GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

    The Marketing & PR Coordinator is responsible for creating, organizing, and effectively communicating the portfolio of 24 Carrots and its affiliate venue brands (referred to in sum as the 24 Carrots Collective) through digital marketing and public relations initiatives. This includes content creation for internal and external media platforms, copywriting and creating digital packages, and portfolio management and support.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The responsibilities of the Marketing & PR Coordinator include the following but are not limited to:

    General

    • Uphold the standards of 24 Carrots’ employee handbook and policies.

    • Represent the 24 Carrots core values: Trustworthiness, Collaboration, Service Excellence and Dedication.

    • Use the 24 Carrots core values as a consistent guide through all storytelling and reputation management.

    Brand Management

    • Master and reinforce 24 Carrots brand, as it applies to written communication, multimedia presence, printed collateral, and in person presence.

    • Master and reinforce each brand of the 24 Carrots Collective.

    • Provide marketing support and customer service for venue partnerships (outside brands) to meet agreements and yearly goals.

    • Support new brand launches and additions to the 24 Carrots Collective.

    Content Creation & Communication

    • Prep and delivery of 24 Carrots storytelling through social media, email marketing, and online platform and reputation management.

    • Capture or curate compelling content, both on site and off site.

    • Arrange copy to support the digital content and effectively communicate the 24 Carrots way.

    • Establish and maintain consistency in internal and external social media content calendars, as appropriate for each platform.

    • Actively engage followers, advertisers, and online platforms to promote authenticity and the 24 Carrots voice.

    • Use content relevant to each brand of the 24 Carrots Collective, aligning with each personality, and supporting overall marketing priorities to consistently share on social media content calendars.

    • Prepare monthly Social Media & PR Report

      • Evaluate social media trends and propose appropriate adjustments as needed.

      • Explore new emerging platforms and propose their use in alignment with 24 Carrots.

    Public Relations Marketing

    • Arrange copy and content with digital packages for submission and adjusting content based upon the outlet:

      • Digital Advertising Platforms and Partners

      • Press Partners

      • 24 Carrots Newsletter

      • National Award Submissions

      • External social media platforms of the 24 Carrots Collective (includes but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)

      • Internal social media platforms of 24 Carrots and the #24cLife (includes but not limited to: Teams, Workplace, LinkedIn)

      • Pinterest (see portfolio management below)

    • Responding to media requests with appropriate content and copy.

    Portfolio Management

    • Catalogue event photos, including easy access to vendors and creative partners.

    • Catalogue features and publications of the 24 Carrots Collective.

    • Establish, update, and maintain Pinterest portfolio.

    • Update and maintain media portfolio on advertising websites for the 24 Carrots Collective.

    • Update and maintain media portfolio for internal team (tasting rooms, iPads, etc.)

    • Edit in house collateral materials as needed (Microsoft, Adobe, Canva).

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    1. Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or hospitality

    2. Three (3) to four (4) years of experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or hospitality.

    3. Three (3) to four (4) years of social media management or equivalent training in a professional setting

    4. Experience in working in a computer environment utilizing Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    5. Basic understanding of Adobe Suite, Canva, and other design programs

    6. Event experience preferred

    7. Communication or public relations account management in hospitality preferred

    8. Photography or editing experience a plus

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    1. Ability to speak and understand English

    2. Ability to write routine correspondence

    3. Ability to effectively and courteously deal with the coworkers and the general public

    4. Ability to write articles and copy for publication that conform to prescribed style and format

    5. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors

     

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

    2. Ability to compute rates and calculate figures such as proportions and percentages.

    REASONING ABILITY

    1. Ability to maintain a calm, composed presence in an often fast paced environment where multiple tasks, events and stimulus may occur simultaneously.

    2. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
